Bali FAQ
Q: Do I need a visa for Bali?
A: Most visitors (including US citizens) receive a 30-day visa on arrival in Indonesia — no advance application needed. You'll get a simple arrival guide after booking.

Q: Is Bali safe for women traveling alone?
A: Yes — Ubud is one of the world's most popular destinations for solo female travelers. And you'll never truly be alone here: airport transfers, a private driver, and our circle of 12 mean you're held from touchdown to takeoff.

Q: I've never done hypnotherapy. Is this retreat for me?
A: Absolutely. Most of Michelle's clients begin as complete beginners. Your private 2-hour session is tailored entirely to you, and everything in circle is guided — no experience needed, only willingness.

Q: What happens on Nyepi, the Day of Silence?
A: From 6am on March 8 to 6am on March 9, the whole island observes silence — no travel, no lights, no noise. We stay inside our private villa in circle: rest, reflection, journaling, and the most star-filled sky you'll ever see. It's a rare privilege, and it's woven into the retreat intentionally. Your arrival (March 4) and departure (March 13) flights are completely unaffected.

Q: What fitness level do I need?
A: If you can walk comfortably, you're fine. Yoga and meditation are gentle and optional, excursions move at an easy pace, and rest time is built into every day.

Q: Will I get alone time?
A: Both. Mornings and excursions are shared; afternoons hold dedicated rest and integration time, and your villa space is yours whenever you need solitude (Private room).

Q: Are flights included?
A: Flights, personal shopping, alcohol, extra nights, and anything outside our planned itinerary are not included. Everything else — villa, meals, spa rituals, ceremonies, excursions, transfers, photography — is. Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests — you'll need to show proof of coverage before the retreat — but it is not included in the price, so please arrange it yourself.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Your $1,500 deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable if you cancel at least 30 days before the retreat, and non-refundable within 45 days. Travel insurance is mandatory, so you're covered if plans change.

Q: Can I room with a friend?
A: Yes — choose the Shared Room option and mention who you're coming with on the interest form.
